Toledo, Ohio – Bolt Express is proud to announce that we are dedicated to finding a cure, for all women’s cancers! Our employees have come together and will be represented as Team Expedite a Cure at this weekend’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Toledo, Ohio. They will be among over 19000 participants supporting the Northwest Ohio affiliate for the Cure.

Bolt Express, as a company, is also the presenting sponsor of the First Annual Great Lakes Convoy for the Awareness, prevention, and Cure of Women’s Cancers. Founded by our own, Michelle Dunn, a cancer survivor and employee, as well as Jeanie Silk, an Owner Operator leased to Bolt Express, they are joined by other team members of Bolt who are thrilled to be part of such a significant event. This year, Bolt Express is the presenting sponsor, covering all operating costs so that all of the funds raised can go directly to benefit the charities selected: Susan G Komen of Northwest Ohio, The Foundation for Women’s Cancer, and The American Cancer Society.

The inaugural event will take place this Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at the Petro Travel Center in Stony Ridge, Ohio. The convoy will depart at 11:00 A.M. following a route that takes the convoy over the Veterans Glass City Skyway and return to the Petro upon completion. The convoy will commence with a parking lot party where lunch will be served and donated gifts and services will be raffled off to convoy participants and guests.
